Boyd celebrated 16 years of quality real estate service in August 2009! Also in 2008, Boyd was selected for The Mississippi Business Journal's "Top 40 Under Forty" for business leaders in Mississippi.

2009 proved to be a hard time in most segments of the US economy. Major car manufactures getting bail out funds and bankruptsy protection, a home foreclosure estimated every 9 seconds in the US and slow recovery from Wall Street. Meridian has faired well through the hard times compared to many cities. Our local real estate market has also faired well when compared to other areas across the country. Boyd Williams Real Estate Company was down less than half a million in sales for 2009 ( about 2 to 3 homes ). So, we count our blessing and are thankful for the clients we served during this challanging year.

In November of 2000, Boyd left the franchise company he had been associated with for seven years to start a different kind of Real Estate Company. Boyd first started taking his operation on the road daily with a mobile office concept. His house hunting machine was equipped with a mounted computer, internet connection, color printer, television, VCR, Nintendo and everything you could need in the process of buying or selling a home. Moms, dads and kids loved not coming into an office and the little ones are content for hours. Home buyers and sellers embraced this concept and technology and proved its success with over $5 million in sales transactions in 2002!

In 2003 Boyd purchased an office at 2317 Old North Hills Street and added a few new agents. As 2004 came to an end, our sales were over $10 million dollars. Every year since then, sales continue to be between $8.5 million and $11.5 million per year! We are so very thankful to our clients that make it possible!

Boyd uses e-mail to communicate and send digital photos & information to prospective buyers from all over the country.
